Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Wn.
Wn8/EIT.9.3.35. (Dict.8.3.35).

I have just discussed with Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} on the 'phone the position relative to the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" from a licensing viewpoint.

What he has asked me to do is to surrender the licence obtained in January last for the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" car, which was then described as a "Phantom", and he wants you to run the car on trade plates. Will you kindly return me the licence which is at present on the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" car.

I understand you already have one set of trade plates which can be transferred to the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III", and in regard to the additional "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" car which you desire to run, we will furnish you with additional trade plates which you should requisition in the usual manner.

If and when you desire to take the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" cars to France, you should notify Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and ask him to instruct us to apply for ordinary licences, and at the same time you should give us the correct details to enable the applications to be made.
