To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 1328 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.12/AP.4.8.37 We wish to fit thermostat schemes LeC.3488 and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 to Bentley cars 1.B.lV. and 5.B.lV. respectively, the former car as soon as possible, so that we can get a comparison with J.B.lV. car. We will hand you a set of parts for LeC.3488 Scheme (less the bypass pipe and water pump cover), will you please fit this up on 1.B.lV. car - in the Shop if we can get if there in the next day or two - if not in the Garage. The set of pieces for Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 scheme on 5.B.lV. should be exactly the same as the set which you are producing for o.B.lV. car, and we will put this car in the Shop for this job as soon as we conveniently can. A further set of parts to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 will probably be required later for B.2J.-AL. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
