W/P. Sr. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1245 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/R.9.11.37. The package arrived quite safely by EWP.{Mr Punt} on Saturday afternoon. I am very much indebted to you for the trouble you have taken over it. The Bignan is also most acceptable. We have now carried out some tests in the wind tunnel comparing your model with our stream-line, which you will remember lapped at Montlhéry 98 m.p.h. The results show that our original estimate of the speed of your car was pessimistic; as a matter of fact, the drag of your car is astonishingly low. We will let you have a full report shortly, and, in the meantime, are discussing the matter with the Administration to try and induce them to agree to the car being sent over to have the body fitted.
