4 1/2 litre Bentley.

Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}5/KW24.2.36.

I am afraid we are still in a bit of a quandary here as to the proper acceleration figures for this model, for apart from the ones I quoted in my last memo to you -Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/KW21.2.36, I have now come across another chart of acceleration figures prepared by FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}, which I also attach hereto. These, as you will see, differ again from either of the two figures mentioned in my memo, taking those obtained with the compression ratio of 6.44 to 1.

It would appear from your memo that the figures we are to take are those contained in memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}4/KW 7.1.36, but having regard to the FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies} figures contained on the attached chart I would like to have final confirmation from you that these are in fact the figures we are to take.

At present the figures given out to the Bentley Retailers are those contained on the attached chart, but those which I understand you wish us to consider as final being even better, I am anxious to circulate these to all those who are selling this car.

I will therefore await your final reply before taking any further action.

I am sorry to trouble you again but I am anxious to get this matter quite straight. If the figures in the attached chart are not correct please do not trouble to return it.
