Copy of Testimonial from WILLIAM MORGAN, ESQ., B.Sc., M.I.A.E., Professor of Automobile Engineering in the University of Bristol. Late President of the Institute of Automobile Engineers.

Mr. NORMAN BERRY was an undergraduate in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bristol for four years ending June, 1931. During the first three years he took the full curriculum in Mechanical Engineering, and specialized during the fourth year in Automobile Engineering, obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Science, Automobile Engineering. In this last year he carried out with great success independent work in Carburation, Engine Balancing, and Supercharging. Mr. Berry showed excellent mental grasp in his work and readiness of resource in devising experimental methods.

He took a leading part in the various student activities, being Vice-President of the Union, and Chairman of the Students' Engineering Society. In these positions he displayed tact and firmness in carrying out his duties and yet won the popular approval of his fellows.

I have a very high opinion of his character, of his steadiness and determination in carrying out his duties, and believe that Mr. Berry has a great capacity for dealing firmly and pleasantly with subordinates in his charge.

(Signed) W. MORGAN.

22nd April, 1932.
