S/W Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X 3730 C8/C28.10.27 Re Second Goshawk II. With regard to the bodies, the position is that we now have the second body ready at Mulliners, and this has been approved by Sales as a standard model. We are keeping it there until next week, and you can then have it any time you wish. With regard to the limousine, we are having all the woodwork finished and will have the paintwork finished in the "grey" and this can be ready in quite a short time. We think you would probably find it quicker to drive the chassis to London and have the bodies fitted, rather than for us to send the bodies by train and you get them fitted at Derby. Perhaps you will let us know which you prefer. With regard to the scuttles, Mr. Spinney says that the present bodies are quite all right because they have been built to drawings supplied by you, whereas the first body was built to the wood model, and after this wood model was supplied your drawings were altered.
