Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. PN.{Mr Northey} X6044. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.10/ADL.12.32. RE : 58-GN. We have, as you are no doubt aware, fitted this car with a C.A.V. constant voltage vibrator regulator and we should be interested to know what you think about the scheme as a result of observing its working. We are not entirely satisfied with the mounting of the unit, which is mounted on the inside of the dash, owing to the fact that in this position engine vibration appears to make the regulator operate at a lower voltage and we are looking into the question of flexibly mounting the unit in order to insulate it from extraneous vibration.
