DEMOUNTABLE RIMS FOR STRAIGHT-SIDED TYRES.

The demountable rims we have recommended for standard are identical in design to those which have been running on R-R Cars in America and R-R Cars in England successfully. The only difference at all is the fact that the wheels used in America are manufactured in America, whereas, the ones we propose to adopt will be manufactured by Messrs. Dunlop, Birmingham. We have had, however, sets of wheels made by the Dunlop Company and consider that in some respects they are better than the American wheels.

As regards straight-sided tyres. The tyres we have recommended for standard are identical to those which have been tested. There is a risk, of course, with the tyres, of getting a bad batch, but this applies equally to the beaded edge as it does to the straight-sided.
