DERBY.

For attention of Mr. Robotham.

Dear Sirs:

We regret a little delay in replying to your letter of the 23rd ult. (ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/AD).

We note you will be interested to try out the 7.00" for 21" rim "Fort" Silent covers with the altered tread profile as referred to in our letter of Octr.9th.

We presume you have received these covers and we look forward to receiving your views at an early convenient day.

You also mention a smaller type for the 19" rim. We are sorry that unfortunately we have no mould for this size, and therefore, are unable to meet your wishes at the moment. If it is one which you are likely to demand, we should be glad if you would advise us, as up to now there has been no requirement from any source sufficient to warrant our putting down plant.

Yours faithfully,
for DUNLOP RUBBER CO.,LTD.,

W Bond.

Development Manager.
