43700 7.4037 To H1. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} FILTERS. Four types of filters are being tested :- (1) Zenith. (2) AutoKlean. (3) Standard. (4) Centrifugial. Two tests are being made on each filter :- (a) Test made with fine sand to determine the quantity and size of particle which passes each filter. (b) Test made with fluff to determine the relative capacity of each filter to obstruct hairs. We have already handed you two samples of test (a) on the Zenith and AutoKlean filters and have results therefrom. What we now require is the quantity and dimensions of the particles in Test (a) 3 & 4 and a general examination of all four tests of type (b) giving the relative quantity of fluff in each sample. | ||
