The Packard Motor Car Co.,
Detroit,
U.S.A.

For the attention of Mr. W. Griswold.

Dear Sir,

We notice from the American press that the Packard Company are using a battery requiring much less attention in regard to topping up etc., than the Standard type of battery.

As we are very interested, at the moment, in motor car battery problems, we should esteem it a favour if you could give us full particulars of this battery in order that we can try out a sample on one of our own cars.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
