To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from PN.{Mr Northey} c. to BJ. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} CWB. X. 8771 PN{Mr Northey}3/DN19.5.25. RE. 40/50 HP. OPEN TRIALS 'NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I'. X. 8950 X. 8771 I do not feel at all satisfied with the high speed performance of this car. I can get up to 80 only if the road is definitely downwards. I cannot get up to more than 75 m.p.h. if the road is level. This is not a sufficient difference between the old and the new car to my mind. I feel that the engine is firing too late at these high speeds. If you can make any definite alteration in this respect, I would like to have your views. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
