Since writing the above we have had a visit from your Mr. Hives, and he has instructed us to send off at once to you, one of our Model 300 Speedometers with black dial and black finish. He also informed us tht you are not balancing the Speedometer on the instrument board with the model 300 Clock to match, but require one of our model "K" Clocks instead. Mr. Hives also said that you were in such a hurry, so you will note that we are forwarding a Clock with black dial, but with a narrow nickel bezel, in order not to delay you. Will you kindly allow your painter to run his enamelling brush over the narrow nickel rim with black enamel, in order to obliterate the said nickel. We were also instructed by Mr. Hives to send you our ordinary "V" driving pulley, also, our adjustable driven pulley. We are enclosing you formula to enable you to arrive at the size of the pulley according to the size of tyres you fit. | ||
