N.R.C. 1113 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}.. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}8/N.24.5.39. Any change since the original material 25 H.P. Clutches - Graphite Bronze. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} No use The graphite bronze friction lining fitted to the 25 h.p. clutches are giving a fair amount of trouble due to being too fierce. N. have had four cases in during the last week which has defied all attempts to reduce the jagger the Owner's complained of. They have been able in the past to effect a passable cure by fitting close fitting bushes in the centre plate to hold same steady, but on the above complaints it has been of no value. Have you any remedy please? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
