J.3. CARBURETTER. X.5080

We send herewith LeC.2924 showing the design for the above.

This carburetter was originally designed for J.2. but is nevertheless big enough for J.3. and is now allotted to the latter.

It is intended that the various portions forming the body of this instrument shall be made up from aluminium dme castings using sand cores where necessary. This will render any hard work unnecessary for the purpose of obtaining a good finish.

We have the induction pipes designed but as these were originally prepared for J.2. we shall have to go over them to make sure that they are suitable for J.3.

Would you kindly issue the necessary instructions as soon as possible so that the carburetter can be proceeding with its development on some existing engine.
