Joseph Lucas Ltd.,
Great King Street,
Birmingham.

For the attention of Mr. Toulmin.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the two ammeters which were returned to you to correction in respect of 'sticking' of the pointer, and which have since been sent back to us we find that on one of them the pointer still sticks at the end of the charge scale.

It is found that when the pointer is raised sharply to the end of the scale, it frequently remains there, when it requires a slight tap to set it free.

We are very concerned that this should still happen and are anxious that the cause should be eliminated before these instruments come on production. For this reason we are again sending this particular instrument to you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
