With reference to your Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}5/KW19.3.29. The following non-standard parts can remain on the chassis :-
1. Foot brake actuating shafts and brake drum oil drain.
2. Tenoid F.{Mr Friese} brake linings.
3. K.S. Telegage.
The remaining parts should not be allowed to stay on the chassis. We are not in a position to replace any of them with standard parts from this Department.
