With reference to the above chassis, we give below a summary of points raised for your consideration. 1. Rear Axle. Wear on differential pinion bushes and adjusting washers is excessive. Hoffmann bearings loose in the rear hub. R.M.S.9. bearing loose on pinion wheel. 2. Front Suspension. Oil pipes GW.1557/8, yoke piece to upper triangle lever, foul needle roller housing GW.800. Oil pipes GW.1559/60 foul in the fulcrum pin bore. Surface pad on front crossmember distorted. 3. Exhaust Silencer. Front expansion box slightly fouls oil pump. Various sections of exhaust pipe broken. 4. Oilite bushes in front brake idler lever excessively worn. 5. Front brake drums cracked. 6. Front brake linings badly worn. 7. Standardise Kansas Snubber material for bonnet and radiator rest angles. 8. Additional stops EW.1528 required on front end of bonnet top plate. 9. End plate of petrol tank fractured adjacent to the outer edge of the riveted flange of the filler pipe. continued. | ||
