X7410 BY c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to War. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/HW8/IN11.6.30. 40/50.h.p. Rear Axle Springs. We should be pleased to know whether it is not now possible to issue Standardization sheet for the above springs having the solid eye at the Front end, and rolled eye at the rear end of the mainplate. Unless some information on the subject is quickly forthcoming, it will be necessary for us to place further orders with Messrs. Thos Firth.&.Sons,Ltd., for Springs with mainplates having the solid eye at both ends, at a cost appreciably more per set than would be the case if those having one rolled eye could be ordered. As we wish to avoid, if possible, further expense we trust that you are now in a position to give us some definite information. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
