Bentley Centrally Mounted Wings & Radiator.

We wish to lighten the radiator for this scheme as far as possible and should therefore like you to construct the following parts with a view to fitting them to a radiator at an early date.

(1) Top Tank - as shown on attached pencilled print EB.2151.

(2) Bottom Tank - We send you herewith a bottom tank to EB.2170 which has been scrapped for a thin section. We should like this machined so that the metal thickness is nowhere more than .100" except at supporting bosses and outlet flange.

(3) Steam Chamber - as shown on attached pencilled print EB.2180. This alteration consists of reducing the seating width of minimise leakage.

(4) Radiator Shutter (EB.1056). Will you also please construct one Bentley radiator shutter in Staybrite steel .028" thick (25 SWG.). If it is not possible to use the Bentley method of construction, the 20/25 and 40/50 method should be used. We wish to compare this with a standard shutter for weight and rigidity.
