Bailey - Chief Engineer} Gx. As requested by Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} we are sending you a print of EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.119 which shows a comparison between the maximum body enclosed limousine cars on SpectreCodename for Phantom III and the latest P.II and 25-HP. Although this was completed a few days ago we did not wish to send you a print until we had visited Derby and obtained the latest information concerning the chassis dimensions. The body of SpectreCodename for Phantom III is exactly the same size as that of P.II in all its dimensions. Due to the lower chassis the roof is a 1 1/2" nearer the ground and due to the wide frame and smaller axle there is 2" of compressed cushion to the rear seat, more than P.2. Although the distance between the dash and front axle is 8" less than that on Phantom the distance between the front of the radiator and the base of the windscreen is only 4" less, whilst the length of the bonnet is only 2" less. We think that the appearance is modern, noble, and dignified. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
