3 brake ropes are very slack. A considerable amount of oil escaped from round about the oil pump. The silencer has walked about its supporting bands, evidently it prefers to slide through the bands rather than the swinging brackets moving backwards and forwards. The side engine guards entirely block up the crank chamber drain plug and shy the design if not. There is an excuse the drain hole is too high leaving approx 2 extra stay which supports the well of the spare wheel carrier This stiffens up the wing considerably. We find that by getting hold of the NS{Norman Scott} wing we can bend the stay quite easily also the wing collapses there not being sufficient strength in the flat portion of the wing nearest the running board. We find upon examination underneath that the rear universal joint of the propeller shaft has thrown all the oil out apparently from the inside joints. The rear | ||
