Dear Sir, We recently returned to you a Bentley rev-clock No.854 for overhauling and special calibration. Upon receipt back at the workswe find that the clock gains approximately 1/4 hour a day. As we intend to fit this instrument to E.R.Hall's Bentley we think the clock should be a little more truthfull, so we propose returning same to you for regulation. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
