Dear Wilks,

Many thanks for your letter of December 17th with reference to stainless steel brake parts; my letter was quite serious.

How are you getting on with the propeller shaft with the rubber ends? Can you see any prospects of this being successful?

I hope that your piston knocks on aerolite pistons have subsided.

Is there any chance of you making a quick trip to the States to get the 'low down' on the progress they are making? I expect to be going the end of January, or the beginning of February.
