X5680 EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. N. Hd {Mr Hayward / Mr Huddy} /WW6/KW19.9.30. X.5680 X.7680 Seizure of Battery Ignition Contact Breaker Lever on its pivot. With reference to your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/ADL8.9.30. we have had several cases of seizure of this part which were apparently due to lack of lubrication. In each case the pivot pin has shown a certain amount of rust, but when cleaned and oiled the freedom has been quite standard and no other action has been necessary.
