To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Ha/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} c. to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 87080. Ha/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}1/MJ.15.4.32. SEMI EXPANDING CARBURETTER. LEC.3026. We find that when setting the petrol level, the present floats (28 SWG.) .0148 are too light to give ample working allowance. By calculation from added weight, floats made of (22SWG) .028 should be satisfactory. We should like two sets of floats building to this S.W.G. for trial. Building up of floats 28 SWG. should be held up pending this experiment. Ha/L.H.Swindall. | ||
