DESIGN POSITION.

SPECTRECodename for Phantom III CHASSIS - CONTINUED:-

Modified bolting of pinion bearing housing to increase clearance with hand brake cross rope & guiding thimble. Completed 20.8.35.

I.F.W.S. revised bolting of spring cylinder. " 16.8.35.

Improved gearbox support rubbers. In hand.

Gearbox:- oil guard to prevent leaks from gear change bracket. Completed 14.8.35.

Modified position of junction boxes to suit front damper oil filler tubes. Completed 8.8.35.

Petrol filter mounted outside frame. Completed 16.8.35.

32 gallon petrol tank. Completed 22.8.35.

Rear bumper and fixing. Completed 16.8.35.

Mod. to lubrication of centre steering ball joints. Completed 15.8.35.

Steering box:- gland for oil feed to rocker shaft. Completed 20.8.35.

I.F.W.S. modification to buffer plate on lower triangle. In hand.

Gearbox:- Oil return pipes from bearing housings of servo drive shaft. Completed 14.8.35.

" Mods to oil return in front cover to suit blanked off reverse shaft. In hand.
