SALERNI COUPLING.

Herewith is N. Sch. 3065 giving particulars of the control rod between the clutch pedal and the coupling lever.

We have reckoned on a maximum load of 400 lbs. in the rod. The half inch solid rod will stand 3 1/2 times this.

We have also shewn a method of mounting the operating lever on the clutch pedal.

We wish to modify the dowel in the coupling box shewn on N. Sch. 2906.
