20 HP. PHANTOM. EAC.14.

LOWERING CHASSIS BY REDUCING PACKING.

X.5420 X.7410
X.5410 X.7420

Kindly note the following :-

EAC.14.
This chassis has been lowered at the front as follows :-
(a) The front spring in the full load position has 1.000 camber (neg:) which lowers the car .500.
(b) We have fitted packings .125 thick instead of .750 as standard. This lowers the car a further .625 making a total of 1.125.
(c) There is a possibility that 900 lbs. front springs will be required instead of 1000 lbs. as ordered, in which case the chassis will be lowered a further .135.

PHANTOM.
For F2. series onwards we have fitted a min. thickness of packing .125 thick to all chassis which lowers the car various amounts according to the poundage of springs fitted.
The max. amount any chassis can be lowered is .750, (when 900 lbs. springs are fitted.)

20 HP.
For M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} series we have deleted the packing under the springs which lowers the chassis .250 max. (when 300 lbs. spring is fitted.)

We are sending this information to enable you to check your clearances.

Will you kindly add a note to your drg. of the 20 HP. Axle as follows :-
"Sharp corners to be removed for M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} series", referring to edges of spring pad.
