1346 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.14/KW.1.11.35. Car Seating Positions. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3 shows a suggestion for moving the rear seat passenger 10" forward without altering the front appearance of the car. The 10" is gained by moving the front passengers nearer the windscreen and necessitates the steering wheel being horizontal. The car drawn has 25 HP. body space on a Ph.III chassis, and needs to be powered by a V-8 engine. We also attach a photograph of the Hupmobile 7-seater Limousine. This car sells in England for £895. It has 2" more body room than our 25 HP. and the rear seats are 17" further forward. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
