x264a G.W. Hancock Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/KW.7.4.36. Attached is copy of a note we have sent to Waller at Lillie Hall. By Easter the 20/25 will have completed 10,000 miles, and what is really required then is a Continental test to check up vapour lock under high altitude, high temperature conditions. Immediately after Easter we are proposing to send the 20/25 to France. We will leave it to you whether you stay with the Bentley over Easter or come back as soon as you have got them started and go over with 22-G-V later. It has now been decided that we have got to fit rubber shackles to the Ph.III, and we are making a great effort to get the parts of the official scheme completed in the minimum time. The car should be in France about 10 days after Easter.
