Re: Cross Steering Tube. ---------- With reference to the above, and the considerable correspondence which has passed on this matter, I should be glad if you could let me know as soon as it has been definitely settled what is to be done in regard to the above and the matter of replacement, giving the piece number of the parts required for various series of chassis. We shall be glad, also, to know if it has yet been definitely settled by experiment what is to be done in regard to replacements, and if the 25 sets of parts now going round the works are O.K. to be despatched for this job to Paris, and to Capt. Burt. The parts in question are as follows :- 2 F.6396 - Socket Nuts. 2 F.6397 - Dowel Pin. 2 F.6398 - Lock Nut. 2 F.6387 - Distance piece. 2 F.6391 - Adjusting Screw. 2 F.6394 - Contact piece. F.6395 - " " We presume we shall be in order in charging all such replacements as above to 'Policy'. EP.{G.
