CONDOR ENGINE STARTER.
RE OPERATION OF STARTER SWITCH FOR MOTOR.

Referring to EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /P9/F28221, in which EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} , points out that the modification embodied in the operating gear for the above has turned out satisfactory, we would point out that it is necessary now for a standardisation sheet to be issued with reference to this change.

In issuing the standardisation sheet we think that the following should be made quite clear:-

(1) The trouble with the original switch, and its cause.

(2) How this trouble has been eliminated in the new design.

(3) Whether, in view of the fact that trouble will certainly occur if the original type of switch is left on, it is proposed that we should modify the switches supplied.

This, of course, would be an expensive factor and one that we should not embark upon unless serious troubles are likely to result from the original fault.
