Huckerby}6.5.39., the rattle was like a timing gear rattle, the worst period was at about 30 M.P.H. when pulling, but could not be heard on the overrun. There was no "clonking" from the gearbox. We have ordered from the Works an arrangement drawing in connection with "Gearbox and actuating gear" and when this arrives we will give you full details as to where we found play in the actuating gear which was also causing a rattle.
