Replacement of a P&R battery with a Tudor battery for a car, including logistical arrangements.

X. 3398 As it will be necessary to have a box made for the Tudor battery, which we will push through with all speed, it will be a little while before we can send this new Tudor battery along to you. In the meantime I am very anxious to get on with the ordering of further P & R batteries and, as you know, this cannot take place until the P & R Co. have had an opportunity of examining the present battery; therefore, I want to ask you if it would be convenient, for the time being, for you to have the battery replaced by a standard battery in box, so that Messrs. Peto & Radford can have the present battery at the earliest possible moment. We are also about to send to Messrs. P & R, for comparison, the high rate discharge P & R battery which has been running here on the School Car for a considerable mileage. EFC. | ||
