Cassel} (1) We were asked by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst to instruct 12 further Ignition Coils D.75673 - this has been done. (2) FA was requested to look into the position of 2 Bentley Dynamos and 1 Wraith Dynamo as asked for in HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}3/VS.{J. Vickers}14.5.37 - one of the Bentley machines is required for 6-B-IV in connection with 15,000 miles trials. Codes B.497/2 and W.65/1. (3) FA was requested to look into the position of 3 Phantom III Dynamos as asked for in HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}19/BA. 1.6.37 Code S.43/2. (4) WSC.{W. S. Cassel} was requested to look into the position of fitting Delco Remy Distributors to 4-B-IV, 5-B-IV, B-23-A.E. and B-24 Unit, on investigation we found that B-24 Unit is fitted with Delco Remy Distributor, 4-B-IV is in London - FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies} cannot spare 5-B-IV, and B-23-A.E. is now scrap. (5) HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}6/BA.7.5.37 Rev Counter and Speedometer from the AC. Co instructed for B.56.B.N. are now to be fitted to 6-B-IVs TT to see that this is done. (6) Motor Blades D.76009 Ph.III and D.54999 25/30. H.P. instructed in By/RD.3/BY.20.5.37 to be handed to Wst. (7) CheapenedWraith Dynamo now to be fitted to 24-G-VI and not 26-G-VI as originally instructed as same is not suitable for the new engine. (8) By/RD.6/B.10.6.37 - RR Sch.896 - Code S.112/3 Regulator Resistance Unit Burn outs, FA to look into position and give completion promise. continued. | ||
