We shall not have an EAC.Vlll chassis ready until about the end of this month. Everything is progressing favourably. We shall have the first casting for the dashboard next week. Our efforts lately have been concentrated in completing the aero engines. The first car we shall have ready for France will be a 20 HP. fitted with the following new parts :- ready to leave in 10-days. 1. Steering. 2. Modified front axle and pivots. 3. New connecting rods with loose bushes. 4. Main bearings in steel shell instead of composite, one solid whitemetal and one brass. 5. Hydraulic shock absorbers fitted to the front. 6. Well base rims - semi-balloon tyres. 7. Pedals nearer the dashboard. 8. Body mounted on subframe. 9. Special front springs with [strikethrough] more leaves. 10. Improved carburetter. 11. Exhaust cutout. 12. Louvred bonnet. Our suggestion is that Mr. Robotham will bring this car to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence accompanied by either RG.{Mr Rowledge} or DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} He could then bring with him the hydraulic shock absorbers for fitting ....... | ||
