x Sur 30 EWT. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY7/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 8.12.25. RIVIERA CARS. In reply to BJ3/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 4.12.25. copy of which was attached to EWT8/M.7.12.25. the latest type steering column could be fitted to the two trials cars in question, but work would have to be carried out by the Experimental Dept. The hole in the dash for the steering column to pass through, at present provided, would have to be enlarged, one bolt hole would have to be plugged, and a special column supporting bracket would have to be produced and fitted, in addition to which we have to complete the controls at the bottom of the column, as this has not yet been done by W.W. If the Administration agrees that the two cars in question should be fitted with the latest form of steering column, please let us know, when we will arrange for the special bracket and controls to be detailed and issued to the Experimental Dept.
