Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} CONFIDENTIAL. y9840 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG21.2.23. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. BODIES. We recommend that all bodies for the E.A.C. should be prepared and fitted on to standard long type 40/50 chassis with modified dashboard and supporting brackets. We have a long type experimental chassis (5.EX) which is fitted with 3-speed gear box and central change - known as the American Box. We could use this chassis for fixing on temporary bodies. It could be fitted with a standard gearbox and right-hand levers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
