4" long. On the one designed by us the expense of a gate would be obviated as there is no spigot. We think that the charge of £8. odd quoted by Derby for our design is abnormally high when we can buy the Dunlop one for about £3. What we save on the dummy hub we have to spend on making an elaborate gate. We would be glad if Sales and Derby would look into this matter again as we do not want this difficulty on the other cars we are building.

You will be pleased to hear that R.{Sir Henry Royce} was very delighted with the car.
