4-wheelbrakes similar to those more-or-less approved by R.{Sir Henry Royce}
We consider they ought to try them - they should also try the Hispano brakes.
At the present time some of the brake units off the Hispano car are at WW. We expect however to have it running early in January.
As regards EAC-1 engine, although the first impression of this is pleasing, we consider that there is still a consider-able amount of work to be done on this. It has no very obvious faults but nevertheless, the faults which are there may give considerable trouble before they are right. The engine which we have run is mostly fitted up with obsolete or temporary parts We know from experience that we shall certainly have numerous troubles with this engine.
It appears to us unreasonable to expect to replace an engine which has had 15 years development work on it with an entirely new one until adequate tests have been made.
