We attach herewith a list of the design work completed on the Bentley chassis during the last month and also particulars of design work at present in hand. Bentley III. The design work previously done on Bentley III is now to a large extent cancelled since the return of "E" and "Im." from America owing to the proposal to use the Packard type front suspension and a revised type of frame. Design work is therefore now in hand on the revised specification which includes a new frame, common to Phoenix, Packard front suspension common to Phoenix, gearbox with over-drive, common to Wraith, and P.III.etc. A specification will shortly be issued covering the revised proposals.
