1104- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}3/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 1st September, 1938. - Greenwood, Esq., Old Hill Motors, Old Hill, Staffs: Dear Mr. Greenwood, I understand from our mutual friend - F.L. Manning of Hoopers - that you have very kindly said you would loan to us for a couple of days a Cord motor-car. I understand from Manning that he has told you we want to discover how fast it will go, and we should like to put in one lap at Brooklands to get this figure. If you would give me a ring when you can loan us the car, I will send over to Staffordshire for it. Yours sincerely, | ||
