B.60 ENGINE WEIGHTS.

Engine weights as illustrated in attached photographs .................... 453 lbs.

This does not include:-
Fan blades....................approx 1 lb. 8 ozs.
Fan belts........................." 1 lb.
Dynamo.......................... 22 lbs.12 ozs.
Self-Starter.................... 24 lbs.
Rocker Shaft and Pedestal......... approx 4 lbs.
Manifolds and Carburetter as Wraith.... 17 lbs. 4 ozs.
Clutch.......................... 28 lbs.
Clutch case...................approx 7 lbs.
Coils........................... 3 lbs. 4 ozs.

Adding these weights to those of the engine one gets } 561 lbs. 12ozs.

The weight of a mech. petrol pump is .... 5 lb. 8 ozs. (approx.)

Parallel weights for the Wraith are as follows:-

Engine in same condition as B.60 engine illustrated........................ 470 lbs.

Fan blades...................... 1 lb. 8 ozs.
Fan belt........................ 8 ozs.
Dynamo.......................... 23lbs. 14 ozs.
Self-Starter.................... 22lbs. 9 ozs.
Rockers, shaft and pedestals...... 6lbs. 0ozs.
Manifolds and Carburetter......... 17lbs. 4 ozs.
Clutch.......................... 27lbs. 2 ozs.
Clutch Case..................... 8lbs. 15 ozs.
Coils........................... 3lbs. 9 ozs.

When these weights are added to the previous engine weight one gets } 581lbs. 11½ozs.

It must be borne in mind that the B.60 engine incorporates a mechanical petrol pump.
