X540 To Sft.{Mr Swift} c. to By/Mtn. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.8/KW.19.6.36. Re Standardisation Sheet No. X.540 - Water Connection - Engine to Radiator. Owing to an error in detailing, the modified cylinder head end cover and connection for rubber hose connection without 'C' nuts (to Ex.21163) fitted to 22-G-V during its 15,000 miles test is a Bentley one; i.e., has an incorrect angle of outlet for the 20/25 car. In standardising this, therefore, the alterations shown on Ex.21163 should be made to a 20/25 type cover, i.e., Ex.21163 should not be rigidly adhered to. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
