Speedometer No.W.638, calibration 700 revs. per mile, belonging to car 2.B.50, has been handed to us with the complaint that the pointer "sticks" at 30 m.p.h. We have confirmed on the bench that it does so, some-times to such an extent that the speed can be increased to 50 m.p.h. before it breaks away.
