25th January, 1941.

Messrs. WILMOT BREEDEN, Ltd.,
Eastern Works,
Camden Street,
BIRMINGHAM.

Attention of Mr. Spicer.

Dear Mr. Spicer,

Confirming our telephone conversation this morning, we are very anxious to get dimensions of the slam-lock for the front door of the Myth, which you are preparing for us.

The most important dimension is from the handle to the top of the lock, the reason being that, on the job we are designing, we have a rather unusual condition at this point.

As you know, we are keeping this body as light as possible and we have arranged that the front door pillar diminishes above the waist line, which controls the available space for the lock above the handle.

If you could let us have this dimension on Monday we should be much obliged.

Yours sincerely,
