...........Incidentally two of the pumps, while working normally, were very noisy indeed, in spite of the fact that they had the new bracket and were mounted on rubber.

All the three cars were used for driving round and about London traffic.

Also, a 30 HP. car was held up in the middle of the traffic to-day. It passed right out. Apparently the Works have cheapened the terminal on the wire from the coil to the distributor and it had fridged away and fallen off. The car had done 300 miles.

Another 30 HP. car came in with trouble of cutting out at speed.

Everything was checked over, pipe lines and pumps were O.K. The car had done 600 miles. Slow running seemed alright.

We took the lid{A. J. Lidsey} off the float chamber and the bottom of the float chamber was full of dirt. I should say about a salt-spoon full. And yet the filter on the side of the carb. was quite clean. We cleaned the carb. out and everything was O.K.

I was wondering, do you think it is possible for dust and dirt coming through the radiator to find its way down the spout on the float chamber lid{A. J. Lidsey}, should the car be used in a dusty district for any length of time.
