EFC. PC.94. X 9620 May 25th 1925. C X.8620. EAC. STARTER MOTOR C. Particulars of this motor, which was received from the shop 23.5.25, are as follows :- Armature. The commutator is modified to D.70879 (modified mechanically only). Resistance of the winding is .00820 w at 19°C. Field Circuit. The main field coils are wound with wire of modified section to D.70948. The C.S. area and number of turns remain the same. Resistance of winding is .01055 w at 19°C. The teazer winding is of 33 turns per coil of 17 SWG. wire, and is placed near the carcase. Resistance of winding is .287 w at 19°C. Angle of thread on shaft is 45° helix. The brushes have now bevelled tops. The new feature of the cushion spring on the pinion shaft has also been included on this machine. CAP. | ||
