To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.4547 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/M19.9.24. We thank you for the booklet and letters concerning Messrs. Noble's Industries products. We note that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has some enamels providing a good egg shell black finish, and we suggest that a Goshawk 11. steering colum quadrant be blacked and tested, as this is the one fitting where the black enamel at present used seems to rapidly come off.
